Dear Jane,

Greetings from New Mexico! I am writing to extend my thanks for your brilliant online painting lessons. More than any other instructor, your tutorials have increased my skill, confidence and motivation. I took up painting just last year after retiring from a career in mental health. Your videos are infused with so much wisdom ("color gets all the credit but value does all the work") and sound advice ("just paint like you know what you are doing"). The joy that you experience while creating is just infectious. As you know, every new artist wants to "loosen up" and paint more expressively. You are the first teacher I have encountered who demonstrates how to do so, from both a technical and mind set perspective. I am thrilled with my progress and wanted to express my sincere appreciation.
